sites (ZDNet, CNET, RedHat, ARC), and techies.com’s corporate Web site.
Hired and managed a six-person staff of editors, writers, and an online
community manager, as well as freelancers.
- Conceived
of and implemented content, newsletter and online community strategies,
generating 250,000 monthly page views and $1/2 million dollars of
revenue in their first year.
- Established
editorial plans, standards, systems, procedures, and metrics within
one month of employment.
- Championed
for and selected a leading content management system, which automated
Web page production to the extent that three departments could be
reduced by a headcount of approximately 50 people.
- Authored
technical specifications outlining functional requirements of content
management systems.
